How to Apply
Apply liberally, and massage slowly & gently on the affected part, until fully absorbed into skin. Massage 2-3 times daily. (Preferably massage from limbs towards direction of heart to help better circulation).

Dietary changes that may be helpful
Avoid spicy, oily, and salty food preparations.
Avoid cold & frozen foods. Never drink ice cold or fridge water.
Avoid food recipes causing constipation.
Avoid Rice, Pulses. However, barley. Horse Gram (kulthi), green Gram (moong), Unsplit red lentils (sabut massor) are recommended.
Try to avoid non-vegetarian recipes & consumption of alcohol.
Take freshly prepared and hot food.
Bitter vegetables like bitter guard, pointed guard etc. Are recommended.
Consumption of garlic & ginger is useful. Consumption of buttermilk with seasoning of garlic or ginger is recommended.
Lifestyle Changes that may be helpful
Rest and Exercise : Rest & exercise reduces pain. Rest provides relief to the problem joints, and reduces swelling, while exercise strengthens the muscles, which helps to support joints better. It is better to exercise when you have least pain, swelling or stiffness & when you are not tired. Avoid exercise which may strain your joints. Stretching exercise will help to prevent immobility & stiffness. Swimming is a good exercise for strengthening & toning up muscles & joints. Preferably, any exercise or yogasanas should be done under the suprevision of trained person or physician.
Avoid continous standing, excess traveling etc. Use chair of proper height to give rest to your legs.

Avoid exposure to cold, wind, or rain.
